Rider notes
Been eyeing up a HAPPY for a while, and ended up commissioning a custom VoKuHila for my birthday. Running 131mm Rebirth Reliable R1 cast trucks, and 95% purple wheels (purple Kevos, purple snakes, 83a Beefcakes, 83a Kegels). Very small nimble and fun board to ride.
Pros
Very comfortable spoon concave up front. BEAUTIFUL BOARD. Purple Coordination. Trucks articulate pretty damn smoothly which feels confidence inspiring at speed.
Cons
Directional with a big split so you cant ride it switch. Short wheelbase can take a bit to get used to.
Why it works
Big split, narrow trucks, tiny WB
What I would change
Would love to have an extra inch of WB options and board length but the mold doesn't have wheelwell clearance for that sadly.

Cameron you've got to give us a photo! The VoKuHilas on Happy's IG look like the coolest boards a person has ever made. Would love to see yours!
Hell yeah! That's a beautiful deck. Also, the color change on the wheels is an insane detail!
They're actually pretty nice feedback on your slides, helps you see whether you had bad form by showing hotspots on the wheel compared to the rest if you 90 blast and risk flatspotting!
nice footstop brow
