Terms of Service
Effective date: June 16, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sick Quiver. By creating an account or otherwise using Sick Quiver, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
Who we are
Sick Quiver is a public catalog and community for skateboard and longboard setups. Riders create profiles and post real board setups — components, photos, video links, and notes — and visitors can browse, search, and discover what other riders actually use. The service is published by Lazar Nikolov as an individual. Questions about these Terms? Contact us at hey@sickquiver.com.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Sick Quiver. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into this agreement. If you use the service on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
Your account
To post setups, comment, or interact with other riders, you need an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for everything that happens under your account. Each account is for a single person. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
Your content and the license you grant
You own your content. The setups, photos, comments, profile details, and anything else you post ("your content") remain yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
The license you give us. So that we can actually run Sick Quiver, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, resizing images), publish, display, and distribute your content as part of operating the service. Because Sick Quiver is a public, search-indexed community, this license also lets us promote the service — for example, featuring setups on the site or in social media posts about Sick Quiver. This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies already shared with others or retained in routine backups.
Your responsibility. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to everything you post, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law. Do not upload photos, videos, or text you do not have permission to share.
Acceptable use
When using Sick Quiver, you agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, infringing, or that you have no right to share.
- Violate anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Post spam, scams, or misleading commercial content.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other people, or post hateful content.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Post other people's private or personal information without consent.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content, or attempt to bypass our rate limits, bot protection, or other security measures.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts.
- Upload malware or otherwise try to harm the service or its users.
Content moderation
We want Sick Quiver to be a useful and welcoming place. We may review, remove, edit, unlist, or refuse any content, and we may hold comments for review before they appear, at our discretion. Some content is screened automatically for spam and abuse. You can report a setup or comment you believe breaks these Terms, and we will review reports and take action we consider appropriate. We are not obligated to host any particular content.
Copyright and takedown requests
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content on Sick Quiver infringes your copyright, email us at hey@sickquiver.com with the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The URL or location of the infringing content on Sick Quiver.
- Your name, address, and a way to contact you.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.
We will remove or disable access to content that infringes copyright, and we may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
Third-party services and links
Setups may include links to or embeds from third-party sites such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and may reference external products and retailers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, sites, or services. Sick Quiver also relies on infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare, Railway, Resend, and Sentry) to operate; see our Privacy Policy for details on the data they handle.
Service availability and changes
Sick Quiver is offered free of charge as a personal project. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we may set or change limits on use. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Content on Sick Quiver is created by users, not by us. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any setup, component recommendation, or advice. Skateboarding and longboarding carry inherent risks, including serious injury — any setup choices you make based on content here are at your own risk. Always use appropriate protective gear and ride within your ability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sick Quiver and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the service will not exceed CAD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sick Quiver and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.
Termination
You may stop using Sick Quiver at any time and may delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including the content license for material already distributed, the warranty disclaimer, the limitation of liability, and the indemnification — will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page. If you continue to use Sick Quiver after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
